Nate Davis has lead the 49ers to two comeback victories this preseason. Last week Davis went 10/15, throwing for 132 yeards. He was the 5th round pick this season, out of Ball State.
Haurd was released early today, ensuring the Davis won the job. Huard is a 13 year veteran of the NFL. During his career he threw for 6,303 yard and 33 touchdowns.
